FAQ

Questions? We Got Answers!

Where can I have an appointment?

As a mobile IV service, you can have your appointment almost anywhere! We bring all of the equipment required. All you need to do is have a place to sit back for the appointment, which generally takes less than an hour.

What are the benefits of IV drip therapy?

Intravenous (IV) fluid drips deliver saline solution through a small tubing and catheter directly into the bloodstream. This solution usually includes medications and vitamin supplements that are tailored to the individual patient.

During therapy, the nurse inserts an IV line which is attached to a bag of saline solution. The bag is then hung above the patient’s head. IV therapy bags are designed to let gravity carry fluid into the veins over time, as opposed to a syringe or other forced technique.

Who will be administering the IV drip treatment?

All of our IV infusion specialists are Registered Nurses who are trained and experienced in administering IV treatments. They are supervised by our Medical Director, who is an MD.

How long do IV drip treatments take?

Our IV treatments typically last between 30 – 60 minutes depending on the individual.

What is Reiki?

The word Reiki is a japanese word which literally means spiritual (rei) energy (ki). Other terms used are universal life force energy, prana or chi. This life force energy exists in every living and nonliving thing and is the energy that effortlessly moves through all things. The energy inside of us can become weak, unbalanced, stuck or blocked. When this happens,we may become sick, fatigued, depressed or anxious. Your Reiki practitioner will sense where these blockages are and will focus on moving, clearing and balancing your energy.

CranioSacral Therapy and Reiki are complementary to each other and are used simultaneously during your session. Add this therapy to your healing journey and enjoy receiving in the comfort of your home, hotel or AirBNB. Pre op, Post op and Postpartum (newborns too!)

What does it feel like?

During a typical CST session, you will be fully clothed and will lay on your back. Most people feel a deep sense of relaxation in the body and the mind. Some may feel sensations such as tingling, pulsations or heat and some may even fall asleep during the session.

Memory recall, expressing emotions and seeing images or colors are also commonly experienced.

What is CranioSacral Therapy?

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on technique, which stimulates the body’s natural healing process. The practitioner uses light touch to evaluate and assess the cranio sacral system (the membranes and fluids that surround, protect and nourish the spinal cord) and the surrounding tissues. By tuning into the palpable rhythm and using soft touch and gentle pressure, they are able to detect and release any restrictive lesions or dysfunctions deep within the body. Removal of these restrictions results in decreased inflammation, decreased pain, improved circulation and increased mobility.

By creating a homeostatic environment around the brain and spinal cord (which enhances your body’s ability to self correct), CST is able to relieve a wide variety of dysfunctions.

These can range from surgery, injuries and chronic pain to anxiety, depression and neurological impairments. CST promotes healing of the soft tissues, while helping to reduce scar tissue.

What is a lymphatic drainage massage used for?

Lymphatic drainage massage, also known as manual lymphatic drainage, is a gentle form of massage used to relieve painful swelling in your body. Swelling happens when your tissues retain fluid left behind after your cardiovascular system sends blood to your tissues and organs.

The remaining fluid is called lymph. Normally, your lymphatic system collects your lymph and returns it to your heart via a network of lymph vessels and lymph nodes. When something disrupts your lymphatic system’s process, lymph collects in the body, making it swell.

A massage therapist uses lymphatic drainage massage techniques to move lymph from your tissues to your lymph nodes, which eases the swelling in your tissues.

Any surgery, including cosmetic surgery, will lead to swelling and bruising in the area the surgery is performed. It is the job of Lymphatic channels, small hair like structures beneath the skin, to carry away excess fluid and toxins. After surgery these channels may be overwhelmed. Lymphatic massage helps to clear swelling and bruising by clearing these channels.
